What is the EZ Saliva Test
and How Does it Help Me?
See the Difference
There is nothing like the EZ Saliva test kits available on the market. It is more efficient, more accurate, and easier to use than your standard breathalyzer carried by most. Test results are admissible as evidence for the highest conviction rates.
What Are People Saying?

Saliva is the Best Matrix to Test for Recent Drug Use
Saliva is just as good as blood, if not better.
Saliva and blood will detect RECENT use, usually within 24 hours of consumption.
However, the biggest advantage that saliva now has over blood testing is the ability to collect a sample on-the-spot.
This enables the officer to get the best “picture” of the drugs in the offenders system, without metabolizing the drugs any more like what happens when taking them to a second location to get tested hours later.
FAQ's
- After years of funding studies, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced new drug testing regulations for all Federal Government testing. Through their public announcement they stated, “HHS determined that oral fluid testing conducted in accordance with the OFMG provides ‘the same scientific and forensic supportability of drug test results as the Mandatory Guidelines for Federal Workplace Drug Testing Programs using Urine'”
- In fact, HHS believes in it so much that they predicted in 2022 that, “Over the next four years, it’s projected that the use of oral fluid for drug testing will significantly increase… By the end of the fourth year, we anticipate that 30% of collectors will be trained in oral fluid collection, underscoring a notable shift towards adopting oral fluid testing due to its cost savings and flexibility.”
- The DOT followed suit one year later and stated “The U.S. Department of Transportation is proposing to amend the transportation industry drug testing program procedures regulation to include oral fluid testing. This will give employers a choice that will help combat employee cheating on urine drug tests and provide a more economical, less intrusive means of achieving the safety goals of the program”
- Saliva correlates extremely well with Blood for drug testing. According to a roadside *study conducted by the National Library of Medicine they found, “Oral fluid and blood samples provided very similar information regarding recent drug intake by randomly tested drivers… Oral fluid can be considered a reliable alternative to blood as a matrix for drug testing.“
- Saliva collections take just 90 seconds with our device and can be performed by any officer at the point of arrest- meaning we’re getting the most accurate depiction of the level of drugs in their system vs. waiting 2-3 hours to do a blood draw. Training is done virtually and takes officers roughly 20 minutes to become certified.
- We’ve heard from both civilians and officers about how much easier and more comfortable this collection is compared to a forced blood draw. Why stick someone with a needle when you don’t have to?

What’s different about Urine and Saliva when you consume drugs?
- The drug “detection window” is the timeline of when drugs can be detected upon consumption and how long it’ll show up afterwards. Each matrix (Blood, Breath, Urine, Saliva, Hair) varies. According to the data, when consuming THC, the metabolites won’t be detectable in a person’s Urine until anywhere from 4-10 hours after consumption. For Saliva and Blood, it is detectable within minutes of consumption and only stays present for 12-24 hours after use. Saliva and Blood give a much clearer picture into recent drug use which is important especially for legalized drugs.
- Arresting a civilian, transporting them to a locked down bathroom, then waiting for the “shy bladder” syndrome to go away can also cause wasted HOURS for officers as they wait for a simple Urine screen. Instead, pull out a saliva drug test from your car and test them right on the side of the road.
- To avoid cheating, agencies require an observed Urine collection. Gender politics aside, this creates nightmare scenarios for both officers and civilians alike.
- With all the evidence for Saliva testing in Federal, State, Forensic, Workplace, and Clinical testing; the overwhelming consensus is that Saliva testing methods are accurate representations for recent drug use. The science backs our methodology, we have multiple extensive studies on accuracy, and we have court cases pending with this test being the driving factor.
- Every laboratory that we use for Law Enforcement testing is either an authorized state crime lab or forensic accredited (ISO 17025) laboratory that will be able to testify in court.
- We are partnering with forward-thinking law enforcement officers in every state that can help us get case law and legislative changes in order to get full statewide adoption, depending on the state.
- Unlike the PBT, the EZ Saliva devices collect TWO samples at the same time.
- The first sample is used to perform an on-the-spot screen test for up to 14 drugs & alcohol that will result in 5-20 minutes
- The second sample will be sent off to a lab for an extensive 95 drug-analyte confirmatory test. We’ll show an example of the lab report below.
- Training with this device is performed virtually and takes roughly 20 minutes to receive the certification. There is no calibration or monthly training required. The certification will be renewed annually.
